Timothy Malia, MD

As a board-certified family physician, I offer patients of all ages a wide variety of primary medical services in my private practice established in 2006.

A native of New York, I grew up in the northern suburbs of NYC.

In 1988, I completed my undergraduate studies at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.

In 1989, I lived in Washington, DC, learning American Sign Language and tutoring Biology at Gallaudet University.

Then, in 1993, I earned my medical degree at the Albany Medical College.

My residency training in Family Medicine was completed in 1996 at the University of Rochester, Highland Hospital Program.  I then served one year as a chief resident of the residency.

In 1997 I was board-certified as a diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine. I maintained board certification in 2004.

I live in Fairport, NY with my wife and our two children. My office is in the same town, so the commute is a pleasure now. Below you can find some additional information about my training, work and professional interests.  If you have other questions, feel free to contact me.
